Mine was Green Day. I was absolutely obsessed with them when I was about 13. I fantasized about having my own band, just like them, and going on tour with them. That was where I imagined I'd be at 23. Thank the gods I wasn't! (for the record, at 23, my dream was still to go on tour, except by then, it was with Star One. hehe. A little less embarrassing to admit to, right?)
Hmm i'm lucky then my first love was Iron Maiden wehn i was around 11 i think. The love stayed strong till 2000, and than they started releasing albums like Dacne of Death...
atm i would say Threshold is my favourite band, as i do not consider an Arjen Lucassen project a band...
I have never really had a favourite band -- well not until about 4 or 5 years ago My first idol ever was Alice Cooper -- I was the only one in my class who liked him. And "like" is an understatement in this case -- I was absolutely breathtaken .
There are so many absolutely wonderful bands I like very much, but during the last .... well, at least 4 or 5 years Dream Theater has been my favourite. I think I have a crush on James LaBrie *hehe*
